This Butterfly Food contains a unique blend of foods and vitamins suitable for feeding butterflies and moths. Butterflies are nectar feeders, so dissolve the food in water and offer it using a Butterfly Feeder to encourage these beautiful insects into your garden. Ideal for use with a Butterfly Feeder. Developed in a laboratory, this Butterfly Food is a blend of food with essential vitamins suitable for wild butterflies, moths and bred butterflies. This easy to use food, can be used to provide a valuable source of nectar for butterflies, moths and other insects at times when there are few flowers about i.e. early spring or late summer, or where flowers are scarce and nectar is in short supply. Simply mix 1 rounded teaspoon with water until fully dissolved and pour the mixture into the pots around the butterfly house feeding tray / soak the sponge on the Butterfly Feeder. The special formula ensures the sugars do NOT crystallize in the in the stomach of the insect, which can be a risk with simple sugar solutions. Unused mixed solution can be stored for up to 7 days in a refrigerator and the sachet can be stored for 8 weeks once opened. 40g Sachet.
