Paragon Natural Dog Flea Shampoo naturally repels biting and sucking insects such as fleas to ensure your dog stays flea free all year round. The shampoo is designed to repel fleas, wash out flea remains and leave the dog’s fur healthy and clean.
How does it work?
Paragon dog flea shampoo uses natural oils from the neem tree to repel biting and sucking insects. Margosa extract is the active ingredient in the shampoo which repels the insects. Margosa extract is cold pressed neem oil it is NOT a chemical, it is a natural oil pressed from the seeds of the neem tree. Neem oil has been used for thousands of years to repel insects and reduce bites. The tree is found in the Indian subcontinent and has been called “The Worlds Most Researched Tree” due to its many uses. The natural oils extracted from the Neem tree repel biting and sucking insects.
The shampoo also contains wheat proteins, which strengthen and condition your dog’s coat leaving it with a healthy shine. The shampoo is lightly fragranced with a pleasant eucalyptus scent which will leave the fur smelling fresh and clean.
For best results use the shampoo once a month, especially during the summer months, as this will help repel fleas. If you suspect your dog already has fleas, use the shampoo once a week and comb your dog’s fur with a flea comb. To use wet your dog’s hair with warm water and apply shampoo directly onto pets coat, using fingertips around the head and behind the ears, avoiding the eyes. Use 30ml for a small dog, up to 50ml for a medium dog and up to 70ml for a large dog. Rinse and repeat with warm water and towel dry. Use a flea comb to comb hair. Repeat in 7 days if required.
If your dog and surroundings are heavily infested with fleas, you will require an insecticidal treatment initially.
