The HAY BAR system was originally devised to help a show hunter brood mare suffering from pneumonia. It encouraged her to eat from the floor and as a result helped drain down her airways. The mare recovered and it soon became clear that the HAY BAR system had numerous advantages.

HAY BAR aids digestion as the forage is taken more slowly. HAY BAR saves waste, as the forage is far less likely to mix with the bedding. Mares, foals and youngstock benefit, as the HAY BAR is far safer than nets or racks. HAY BAR is quicker and easier to fill and hence saves precious time.

Pony Hay Bar is manufactured from high density Polyethylene with a reinforced top edge making it rust proof, rot proof, durable and easy to clean.
