This red variant of Cryptocoryne undulata naturally grows in the Sri Lankan rivers. Easy to plant in the aquarium, it likes in different conditions. The appearance of the plant depends partly on these conditions. Limited amounts of light and fertilizer will make it relatively long, brown-green and will give slow growth. Higher lighting, a good amount of nutrients available and the addition of CO2 will grow faster with shorter, brown-red leaves.
